Mailerlite - How to turn subscribers to active instead of unconfirmed

I have a setup a Zap to create or update subscribers based on new Google sheet row.

The test was successful, however all new subscribers are classified as unconfirmed although I disabled double opt-in in the mailerlite settings.

Can anyone help me here?

I read in another conversation that some of you worked with “Code by Zapier” to add a Python code.

Hi @Liz123

You can try:

  • Check if the example email address you are testing with was already in MailerLite
    • In the DATA OUT from the MailerLite step it should indicate if the record was found = true/false to indicate if a new subscriber was created or if an existing subscriber was updated
  • Disconnecting then reconnecting your MailerLite app account to Zapier here: https://zapier.com/app/connections
  • You can try duplicating the Zap

Unconfirmed subscribers are email addresses who sign up on a form with double opt-in enabled but haven't confirmed their subscription to your newsletter yet.
