I would like to let the zap ON or OFF during  some periods of the day.

Is it possible to turn off a zap automacally by code? 

No need to use code for this! The Zapier Manager app has a toggle on/off action that you can easily place into your Zap! If it just needs to toggle on a regular schedule, your trigger can be the Schedule by Zapier app. If there are lots of conditions you need to consider prior to deciding to turn it off/on, then you may need a code step to aid with that logic.
