Hello there everyone,

I have a Tidycal page and I’ve managed to successfully import it to Zapier and retrieve old bookings from it.

I’d now like to track certain events, mostly new bookings.

After selecting the date and time slot, user can then insert his personal info and setup an appointment for the selected date.

First thing I’d like to ask is should I be using Facebook Conversions API to send Lead Event or try to use WebHooks by Zapier here?

Also, which kind of events should I be tracking here? Just new bookings?

And after I supposedly successfully implemented it, lead does show up on Meta Events but no parameters show up (I’m guessing first name, phone number and email address should be showing up, no?)

Before we dig deeper into this, would you mind sharing a detailed screenshot of how your Zap is configured? Also, please share a screenshot of the “CONFIGURE” section of the action step that shows all of its fields in EDIT mode.

Sure thing, seems like I somehow was able to create this topic twice under two different accounts. The ‘Create’ button for the topic wasn’t working so I kept clicking it and I guess this happened. Sorry for the confusion.

Back to the topic, I’ve been able to using the template by Zapier import my TidyCal and send the lead event over, the test works just fine and the event shows up as ‘Lead’ under my Data Sources. My only two issues are being able to see the parameters that are supposedly being sent over to Meta Events and figuring out which field to use on ‘Event Time’ because Zapier is only being able to retrieve old bookings and all options I get are old dates. I wanted a dynamic field that’d pick up the moment at which the booking got created.

I’ve also used the ‘Test Events’ tab using the ‘Test Event Code’ and it is receiving the fields I’m sending through (contact email, phone number and contact name) but shouldn’t the actual info be showing up too?
