How To Test a New Zapier App Using a Staging API

Hi all!

 

What is the best approach testing a new Zapier app before going live? We use the Zapier CLI but I am not sure what data will be available in the bundle variable. We’ve made multiple assumptions in our unit tests since we can define what goes into the bundle ourselves. 

 

Do we need to create a separate app and point it to a staging url or is there a better way to do this?
