How to Search by Record ID in Zapier

I am looking to search by Record ID in Zapier. I have seen the field when using “Update Airtable Record” in Zapier, but for search, I see all my fields except Record ID. (Screenshot: https://cln.sh/8ftXl7Q3)

 

Anything I am missing here?

Hi @daverad 

Good question.

You can add a formula field in Airtable.

Select the Formula field type and enter:

RECORD_ID()

Name the field whatever you want. (e.g. Record ID)

Then you can use that so search by in the Find Record action.

At first I mis read and added the formula field to zapier, but after a few missed attempts. I got this working. 🎉
