Depending on exactly what you’re trying to do, the native Zapier integration with WooCommerce already has this capability:

However, if you need something more complex or trying to get around paying for the WooCommerce <> Zapier integration, you could look into a fully-coded system that still accepts the trigger from Zoho, and then send a webhook to your custom woocommerce REST API.

That is not my website, nor did I check it for accuracy, but that’s what you’d be looking at doing. If you’re not a developer, it’s probably going to be a pretty steep learning curve, but it’s something I’ve done a lot of.

Thank you. I’ll look into the integration first and let you know.

Dave I did some quick research and it does not appear that the Zapier integration will update order status in WooCommerce.

So this is not it? Or “status” is just not included in its capability?

This is what my research stated:

✅ What the Zapier + WooCommerce Integration Can Do Without Code

Zapier has a native WooCommerce app, and it supports some actions like:

  • Finding an order

  • Creating an order

  • Adding a coupon or product

  • Triggering when an order is updated

  • Triggering when a new order is created

But...

🔴 It does NOT include an “Update Order Status” action out of the box.
That means you can’t change an order status using Zapier’s built-in WooCommerce actions — unless you use Webhooks (like we discussed earlier).

That looks like a ChatGPT or some other AI generated response, yes?

I’ve found it to be wrong about 80% of the time when asking about specific capabilities with specific softwares. This might fall into that 20% that gets it correct, but I wouldn’t trust it without testing it myself.

David - You are 100% correct. This is not my field of knowledge, so cheating every chance I can get….I’ll look into the integration first. Thank you

Hi @Lazar76

As a developer of the Zapier Integration for WooCommerce, I’d like to share some information. While there’s no dedicated order status update, the integration does support updating an order, including its status. For more details, please refer to the documentation here: https://docs.tectalic.com/woocommerce-zapier/resources/order/#update-order

Two additional points to note:

  1. If you purchase the plugin, you’re entitled to a 30-day money-back guarantee, giving you ample time to try it out and make an informed decision.
  2. Our documentation site features an AI-powered chat interface (powered by Zapier, of course!) that can be a helpful resource for finding details. If you prefer this method, I suggest using it, as it may provide more accurate information than a general AI.
