Environment variables

Hello, we would like to use something like environment variables.

We have cca 30 zaps with connectors that use some tags. We need to change tags from time to time based on the business requirments. Right now, we have a request to rename the tag “Susan” to “Jack”. But this means to use to change it one by one in all our apps. We would appreciate the possibility to create a variable: “responsible_person” and change it globally here.

Is there some possiblity in Zapier?

Have a great day!

Hi @Arnold-robot

From what i’m understanding, it seems like you need 1 variable accessible from many zaps and if you change the value of the variable,  you want all zaps to automatically update?

Storage by Zapier (https://zapier.com/help/doc/how-get-started-storage-zapier) or even using google sheets as a database would work effectively. In either of the above options, you would need to add a step to your zaps that looks up the value of the variable. The key will never change so if you update the value, all of your zaps will automatically update to the new value.
