If you're just getting into Zapier, you might be feeling a little overwhelmed wondering what to automate first. It's best to go for some easy wins - by building zaps that take care of the processes costing your business valuable time and money each day.
In our latest blog post, we cover:
Content alerts on Slack
Create a zap that triggers on new RSS feed items (from your company blog, or a service like Google Alerts) and posts them in your companies Slack channel so your staff can see what you're up to.
Automatic posting to social media networks
Speaking of your blog, another great idea is to create another RSS-triggered zap that sends out your content to social media - by either directly connecting the likes of Facebook, Linked and Twitter, or going through a tool like Buffer.
Content curation
Get your team to start using Pocket (or similar) and connect it up to a Google Sheet so you have a list of content ideas to explore. After all, a good blog needs good content.
Social alerts
Generate sales from your social network by keeping an eye on who interacts with you. If anyone with 5k plus followers, follows you - have their details sent to a Slack channel so you can go and say hello. And do the same for anyone that mentions you in their posts.
