Built an API-based Markdown processor with styling controls

I needed a way to convert Markdown specs into professional-looking content without the usual workflow of: write in MD → copy to Google Docs → manually format everything → export. I tried existing MD→PDF tools but none produced the quality I needed for client documents.

Our new Zapier MythicText app solves this with a simple approach: paste your Markdown, adjust the styling with intuitive controls, and export a beautifully formatted document, e-mail, blog, or more.

Current Outputs:

  • GoogleDocs
  • Email
  • Wordpress
  • Twitter
  • Discord
  • More coming every day...

Search “MythicText” within Zapier to find the plugin.

Questions for the community:

  1. Any specific export formats beyond what’s listed above?

  2. Any styling customizations you'd want to see?

Free tool, built it for my own workflow but hoping others find it useful. Let me know what breaks or what features you’d want added when you try it!

Literally have been looking for this kind of tool for months. Manual markdown conversion is brutal. There are some tools that ca convert the markdown but not at scale like this api. Thanks for saving me hours of work!

This is such a cool solution, @JonathanMythic! 🎉 Thanks so much for sharing it here with the community. Love that you built this to solve your own workflow pain points and decided to share it with everyone. 🧡

Looking forward to seeing how it evolves!
