Need some help with a Jira Zap - creating a Jira "issue" type, from google sheets

I use a very similar zap at the moment - where a new google sheet entry creates a Jira ticket. It works perfectly. However, i want to use this for a new ticket type, and facing some issues. The Jira ticket that i want it to create has about 20 fields, which i automatically populate using data gathered in the google sheet. This works perfectly for all the fields that are plain text fields, as the data just goes straight in.However, where the fields in the Jira ticket are dropdown lists, or multiple choice, i cannot use the google sheet data to populate the fields. The data in the google sheet is identical, and word-for-word the same, as the data in the drop down list in the jira ticket, however, when trying to test the zap, i get the attached error. From high level, it is saying that "Travel&Hospitality" cannot be passed, as the allowed fields are ... 17146[Travel&Hospitality]... etc". I tried doing a look up table so that it would enter "17146[Travel&

Hi all,We are creating a log of accepted offers with total revenue. Our CRM contains products with services that have different hourly rates. This data is pushed as follows:line item A: service 1, service 2, service 3, ...line item B: hourly rate 1, hourly rate 2, hourly rate 3, ...line item C: amount of hours 1, amount of hours 2, amount of hours 3, ...Unfortunately total revenue is not included so we want to calculate this by doing the following calculation:(hourly rate 1 * amount of hours 1) + (hourly rate 2 * amount of hours 2) + (hourly rate 3 * amount of hours 3)The amount of services is not equal per product. How would we do this?

Pipedrive Zaps

Zapier asked us to update our Pipedrive Zaps by changing the App from "Pipedrive Legacy" to "Pipedrive". Now there is no option to customize the Zap. I was using a Pipedrive filter previous to trigger the action. Is this no longer possible?

Hubspot "New Deals In Stage" Returning Deal Owner as numeric value - not really useful

Hi Community. I'm working on a zap that gets data when a Deal card is placed in a given stage. The zap is triggered fine and one of the fields I'm parsing is "Deal Owner." The value comes back as a numeric and it appears to the the User's ID. This really isn't useful and I'm looking for a string name. Hello, I am using "Send Email in Microsoft Office" pdf. I am the admin for the Microsoft account. When I connected the account, it automatically began using my email as the sender when an email is triggered. I would like for the emails to come from an exchange group instead of from me personally. Is this possible, or would I have to convert that group into an actual email account?

Templating for content?

Wondering if anyone has a better solution for essentially a template. My client does not want to be in Zapier editing stuff, but wants to edit a notification email that the system needs to send. (Like say they want to add a seasons greetings, or a holiday hours, or a special discount they're running) This is for notification emails that are triggered via Airtable/Zapier and sent via gmail. My thoughts were to have a "Email Templates" table within Airtable (could also be in a spreadsheet or other database like system) with column names like "Template name" "subject" and "Email body"Within the zap I can search the "Email Templates" table for template named XYZ and then I have the subject and the body to send via the gmail step. However, what if I wanted to offer replaceable fields like first name, or record link, or other fields to my clients, ya know, like a real template?So I could have something like {{firstname}} and then run a f

How to automatically update an existing Live Item on the site after an update in an RSS Feed? Right

Hi,I’m building a website for a podcaster who uses a platform that generates an RSS Feed of their episodes. I’m using Zapier to watch the RSS Feed for any new episodes, and if there are any new episodes, tell Webflow to create a web page with all of the data.The problem I am running into is that if my client makes an edit on any of his past episodes, Webflow creates a brand new page (a duplicate of one that already exists). What I would like happen is for zapier to check and see if there’s already a existing episode on the site and make an update to the live item instead of creating a new one.I have tried many things, and I’m wondering if anyone here has any ideas. Hello Zapiers!In our system we generate orders and we want to let to our customers to automatically generate few docs related to such orders. All docs has templates (customisable) and we need to fill different templates with dynamic data.For example, we need to put {ORDER_NUMDER} {ORDER_DATE} {CLIENT_NAME} {ORDER_SUM} to different docs, like: contract, invoice and report. Hello!Sometimes I need to add a list of tasks to my Todoist. This list doesn't even have something to parametrize. I want a simple button to press and have my tasks added to a specific project.The instrument that I have found is a push by Zapier. But it turns out it is somewhat limited: I only can use it in Google Chrome. But I want to do so in Firefox and on my iPhone. Do you know of the alternatives suitable for my desired Zap?

Hi,I'm trying to create a sales receipt in Quickbooks online using a Google Sheet that has a bunch of orders. Here's an example:What I need is to be able to create a sales receipt that will show all the items a customer purchased. Brackets vs Underscores in "Shortcodes"

I'm not sure what the proper term is, but when you copy a value from a field in a Zap and paste it in a text editor it looks something like {{44202530__Item}} I'm calling those short codes for this conversation... please correct me if there is a proper term for it. But recently when working with Line Items I found these two give different results, one works when there's only one line, and another works when there are multiple lines. {{44202530__output[]Item 4}}{{44202530__output__Item 4}}So what is the difference as to why sometimes it uses square brackets([]) versus underscores(__) ?

Hi,I am using Zapier as an intermediary to post an XML to a client's API/CRM. So the ZAP is comprised on two steps: 1) Catchhook from my Lead Management Software 2) POST to the client API.Is there anyway of returning the response from the POST to my lead management software (catchhook)? I'm keen to see in my lead management software whether a lead has successfully reached my client API. At the moment i'm only seeing that it has successfully reached Zapier.

Hey! I'm using Acuity Appointment Start to trigger the creation of an Asana task which serves as a checklist for our team. I'm wondering if there's a way to prevent a path from running more than once per day. Right now the zap would trigger the Asana task creation every time an appointment starts in Acuity, but I only need one task for any day where there's at least one appointment for an individual! Any ideas for how I might prevent a path from running more than once per day? I appreciate your help in advance.

Don't see line items section?

I'm trying to get the creation of a new invoice in QuickBooks to trigger the updating of a Google Sheet, so that every row in the sheet's "Product" column that matches a product name in a line of the invoice gets that line's quantity added to the next column over, the "Count" column. For instance, if I make an invoice for 2 of Widget A and 3 of Widget B, the zap finds the Widget A and Widget B columns I have set up in the sheet, and then in the next columns over, adds 2 and 3 respectively to the "Count" cells. I've managed to set this up fine when there's only 1 product on the invoice, but when I go to use Line Items in my GS action - Find Many Spreadsheet Rows (With line item support) - there's no section for line items! I made sure I selected the QB trigger New Invoice (With line item support), even though weirdly enough the "line item" part of that title doesn't show up in the outline. For what it's wort
