Hey folks,

Looking for ideas here. We collect applications via email from clients and we want to automate the process to extract that info automatically, fill out a form with the data and email the filled document back to our email. We also need to send some of that data to a spreadsheet or SharePoint list using Zapier.

Is anyone doing something like this?

Hi @nellygig,

Welcome to the Community,

Thanks for reaching out with your automation project, streamlining email data extraction to populate forms and spreadsheets is smart. Start by using a tool like Email Parser by Zapier to extract key info from emails, then use Zapier to fill out a form or document with that data. You can automate sending the completed form via email and store the data in Google Sheets, Excel, or SharePoint. Test each step and ensure your setup complies with relevant data privacy regulations.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need further assistance.

We’re doing exactly that with Instafill.ai. It can be a good fit if you’re getting emails with client data and want to automate PDF generation without building your own parsing system.

Instafill gives you a unique email address for each form. You just forward the incoming client email to that address. Instafill extracts the data, fills out PDF form and sends the completed document back by email. Look for more details.
