RingCentral Zap Only Triggers On my Own Account?

Hello there, I am a super admin in RingCentral, we have about forty other users on our account. I set up a Zap to trigger when there is a new call recording, but it only triggers on my own calls, not on any of the calls from any other user. Is there no way to set up the trigger to run on any new recorded call rather than just my own? If I have to make forty different zaps, one for each user, then it’s just not worth the effort unfortunately.

Hi, I’m trying to send a PUT request to RingCentral API on one of our zaps. I am getting a RAW request error which usually means something is not right in the information I’m sending across. Please see attached RAW request and error which I’m getting back from Zapier. Does anyone know what is not configured correctly? Thank you

How do I trigger phone call from Gmail label, using RingCentral number?

Hello I am building a zap that when an email comes from a specific label within my companies gmail account it triggers a call to my company phone number. Basically if I am asleep and a certain client emails it wakes me up. (Open to other suggestions as a solution as well). When adding my numbers to call from and to it does not allow me to select an outbound number from ring. Any idea how to specifically add a number into this field?

RingCentral "Call Ended" Trigger not Triggering

I’m trying to setup a RingCentral Zap that Triggers on “Call Ended” (see below). I placed a couple of test to and from my Ring Central line using the Mobile app, but they are not trigger the Zap sample data. On one of the calls I started a recording and it triggered that trigger, so I know I’m authenticated correctly. Can anyone else duplicate this? Am I doing something wrong? The only thing that shows up is this sample data entry:

Can I Connect Shopify and RingCentral for Order Status?

OK, so I have been looking around and I can’t quite find an answer to this and was hoping for some guidance. We use RingCentral and Shopify. I was hoping to create a hook between the two where when a customer calls in, then picks say Option 1 for order status, either then using the phone number they are calling from (or they can input an order #), we will be able to connect to Shopify, get specific of the order status (like shipment details), and then pass it back automatically to the caller. Is that even possible with Zapier??

Can I connect multiple RingCentral account under one Super Admin account?

As the Super Admin for our company’s RingCentral account, I’d like to know if there is a way to have the triggers apply to all our RingCentral phone #’s, users, extensions, queues, etc. via my account? Or will i have to connect each user account to a separate zap? and if the latter is true, how would i go about connecting each non-user specific entity as they aren’t accounts?

Is it possible to integrate with Ringcentral Intercompany Chat?

Are there any other RingCentral users out there? It would be great to have zaps connected to RingCentral’s intercompany chat (which is basically their version of slack)

Seeing a “Cannot read property 'contentUri' of undefined” error in Ringcentral

I keep trying to create this zap where all my automatically recorded ring central phone calls are saved into my google drive once a new recording is generated from a phone call. Ringcentral Zap stopped working

This Zap has been working for me for a long time and suddenly it’s not. It worked yesterday in fact. Nothing changed on my end. There are tons of call recordings in my account. The Zap takes call recordings from RingCentral and adds them to a dropbox folder. I’m getting this error when I try to bring in sample data: Javascript Exception: `TypeError: Cannot read property 'contentUri' of undefined`. Clicking on troubleshoot error takes me to this page: https://zapier.com/help/doc/common-problems-ringcentral-zapier But my RingCentral account has only one user account. To be sure, I signed in with all my phone numbers and my email address. I get the same error regardless of which “account” I choose.

How To Limit A Zap For A Set Time/Unit After It Triggers Once (RingCentral Text - Asana Tasks)

Hello Peeps, I would be so appreciative if you can provide some assistance with this... I have a zap that triggers when my RingCentral VOIP system receives a New Voicemail. The new VM will connect with Asana Project Management via Zapier and Add a New Task to a specific Asana project that funnels all of my administrative communications into a single hub. New RingCentral VM - Zapier - New Asana Task. I want to do the same thing with RingCentral Text messages. However, since that would mean that EVERY text would result in a new task instead of just one new task for one conversation that can result in an Asana task overload unnecessarily. (For example, if a client sends multiple texts in a row for one request then each individual text turns into a new Asana task even though only one task is needed.) Need Help Connecting RingCentral and Hubspot (details below)

All, My company is trying to integrate RingCentral and Hubspot in the following way: When RingCentral records a call, I would like to create a note engagement in Hubspot with a link to the call recording. I would like this note engagement to be associated with the phone numbers involved in the call. The end goal is to be able to access the call recordings (or links to the call recordings) directly from our Hubspot contacts list. The catch is that I work for a small company with no experts on Zapier, and my boss has no interest in paying me (or anyone else) to become an expert. Can someone please provide step by step instructions as to how we could set this up so that it works reliably? Updating existing contacts in FollowUpBoss, Outlook, and RingCentral

I was wondering if It’s possible to update contact information between 2 platforms without needing to create a new contact. I use FollowUpBoss and Outlook/RingCentral (these two already work together). I created a Zap where if I create a new Contact in FollowUpBoss, it will create the same new contact in Outlook (which then gets sent to RingCentral since they synchronize). But If I want to update information on a already existing contact, I can’t create a Zap that automates the update of a contact through these two platforms. is there anyway to do this?

Preventing infinite autoresponder loops in RingCentral texts

I have a zap that monitors a line in Ring Central (RC), if it receives a text to that line, it responds with a canned message, but if it replies to a line that has the same set-up on their end, the autoresponders keep responding to each other in a never ending loop. I need a way to keep this from happening. Is there a way for me to keep it from sending a message to the same phone number more than once in a 24 hour period? Thank, Jason

Hey everyone! Anyone who were able to zap between RingCentral and Keap? The only supported static data to match is the email address and contact ID in Keap which RingCentral would neither have. Any workaround using the contact’s phone number in RingCentral, or any alternatives? Thanks so much!
