Are you using Jira Cloud or Jira Server?

Do you have the Jira Issue ID saved on the Zendesk ticket?

If not, then try these Jira Zap steps…

If you have the Jira Issue ID stored in the Zendesk Ticket, then you should be able to map that ID to the Jira Issue field on the Jira Update Issue action step using the ‘Custom’ mapping option.

I have used custom option for the same but it is not able to catch status, please refer below images

Try this…

Select an existing Issue, then select the desired Status, then go back and dynamically map the Issue ID.
