Send a Slack Message to the person who is @ mentioned in a Salesforce Chatter?

I can’t figure out what trigger to use in Zapier to set up a flow where a Slack Message is sent to the person who is @ mentioned in a Salesforce Chatter. Any guidance?

Hi @cfalcone01,

Have you tried using the “New Outbound Message” trigger in Salesforce? Does it meet your desired workflow?

@ken.a I’ve set up the outbound message and flows in Salesforce using the provided Zapier webhook but when I post in a Chatter, the Zapier trigger is still not finding my message. I’ll provide screenshots below for reference: 

 

We’ve renamed our “Case” object to be “Ticket”

 

 

The chatter Post I added to a test ticket

 

 

It’s not pulling this ticket into my list when I click Test Trigger

Thanks for giving that a try!

It looks like it might be best to use the “Updated Record” trigger and choose the “Ticket” as the object. Could you please try using the “Updated Record” trigger instead?
