Question

Webhook error

Hello!

Someone left our company without any indication. I have been put in charge of IT ( we are a small non -profit team...please bear with me )

So basically, it is an automatization between Formstack, Box and Airtable. Once the  form is filled ( with attachements)  the attachements are sent to box and then the right files are uploaded to the right record in Airtable. There is a webhook in Formstack that is faulty. But no one is able to figure why (Zapier + Formstack teams)

We have been having error messages from Formstack and the files are not able to be transfered to Airtatble.

Thanks a  million in advance

Hi @Tech Juripop

Help link that will provide guidance: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/24290475355277-Maximize-efficiency-with-updated-webhook-behaviour

If your Zap is off or deleted, Zapier will return a 404 response for incoming webhooks directed at that Zap.

Hello!

Thank you for your reply! I really appreciate that.

It is not the case, unfortunately. The Zap is ON. Any more ideas?

Thank you!

@Tech Juripop

For us to have proof, post screenshots showing these:

  • Zap that is ON
  • Trigger step from the same Zap that shows the webhook URL

That is the thing, I’ve been chatting with Zapier’s support many times. None of them was able to understand or find the webhook URL! That is why I am here today ...

@Tech Juripop

For the Zap with the webhook URL as the trigger step, either:

  • Zap is turned OFF
  • Zap is in the trash and thus turned OFF

Hi, I appreciate the help! Honestly.

No zaps in the trash and the URL says no zap found in the search bar. Like I said, I spent some time with the support without succes.

Maybe it is time to learn and rebuild a different Zap that will do the same actions.

Thanks a million for the help!

@Tech Juripop

The Zap could have been deleted out of the Trash after 30 days.

  • Trash: Zaps that have been deleted within the last 30 days.

The Webhook URL may be related to a Zap that is in a different Zapier account.

That is maybe an option! I will enquiry about a second Zapier account.

But from what I see all the zaps are working and Have been tested.  We have 2 types of Forms that go out : One in French and one in English. The two integrations have different webhooks. The English form works 100% , the files are transferred to Airtable as it should. But the not the french one.

@Tech Juripop

You can check the Zap Runs history to help you find records that were processed by the Zaps that may help you troubleshoot, which Zaps are involved: https://zapier.com/app/history/

Or you can hire help from the directory of Certified Zapier Experts: https://zapier.com/experts
