I would like to know if it’s possible to connect submitted forms/leads back into their dealer management system (Pinnacle or VMG) via their API credentials/details.
What would the steps be? Email by Zapier & Webhooks but which one? Or Formidable to Webhook PUSH/PUT?
I’ve setup a few Zaps but mostly leads to Google Docs. Looking to find a solution to integrate leads back into our customer’s DMS

In order to send the leads into Pinnacle or VMG you will need to follow their API docs. If you have those docs, it would be helpful if you could link them.

If you do go the email parsing route, I recommend using the more robust and reliable app Mailparser: https://zapier.com/apps/mailparser/integrations

As for Pinnacle or VMG. You will need to reach out to their support team to ask for their API documentation (if they have an API). Configuring Zaps with API docs can be done with Webhooks by Zapier but it is considered advanced and you likely won’t find step by step instructions. Since the API docs are not publicly available online there is not much more we can help with.
