I have set-up a Webhook trigger tested successfully and I need to use the data in the subsequent action:
how is it done ? This is not clear from the tool where the data is made available to the action and how to use it.
In my case it is to be used as path parameter within a GET /employees/{id} call of a custom app/action

First you need to test your webhook to send data to the Zap trigger: https://zapier.com/help/create/basics/change-the-test-data-in-your-zap-trigger
Then you can map data between Zap steps using the ‘Custom’ mapping option:
