i want the header of the pic to have time stamp

this is the relvent field

header_templateoptional, input HTML template for the print header. Should be valid HTML markup with following classes used to inject printing values into them: date, title, url, pageNumber, totalPages.

 

i tried
 <span class="date"></span>

 

and got error

 

please help
