With our updated pricing model, there are 3 big changes:
More Zaps: Build as many Zaps as you want on the Free and Professional Plans. We're removing the limits of 5 and 20 Zaps, respectively. Now, every plan offers unlimited Zaps.
More Flexible: Pay-per-task billing when you go above your plan’s limit.
You told us it’s hard to predict swings in your task usage, which could lead to unexpectedly large bills or your Zaps turning off. Now, if you go over your plan's task limit, you can pay for each additional task at 1.25x the price of a task on your subscription.
More Valuable: Filter, Formatter, and Paths by Zapier no longer count as tasks.
We want you to build your Zaps the way you want to. With this change, we won't charge you a task to move data between Filter, Formatter, Paths by Zapier, and another app. This makes your advanced workflows much more cost-effective.
You'll now have access to certain features across all plans, providing more value for your subscription. Additionally, the introduction of pay-per-task ensures you don't have to switch plans if you exceed your task limit, giving you more flexibility and control over your usage.
NOTE: From January 18, 2024 any steps that use the following apps will also no longer count toward your task usage: Delay, Looping, Sub-Zap, Digest, Zapier Manager, Storage, Zapier Tables and Zapier Interfaces.
Not necessarily. It really comes down to whether the plan you're currently on is the best fit for what your business needs. Check out our How to select your Zapier plan guide to help you decide whether you need to move from your current plan.
As of January 8, 2024, pay-per-task billing is enabled by default in all new Zapier plans, or if you upgrade or downgrade your existing plan. If you're on an older plan you'll need to switch to a current plan option to take advantage of this feature. Find out more here: How pay-per-task billing works in Zapier
No, your Zaps will not be turned off if pay-per-task billing is enabled in your account. If you go over your plan's task limit, you can pay for each additional task at 1.25x the price of a task on your subscription and this will keep your Zaps on.
If you enable pay-per-task without changing your existing plan then no, your billing cycle date will not be reset. But if pay-per-task billing selected when upgrading your account then yes, the billing cycle date will be reset due to the upgrade.
For most cases yes, but please contact our Support team to confirm this before making any changes to your account.
