I would like to tabulate the change in values in a column. I have a column of balances with today’s balance. I would like to have a field that calculates the change in today’s balance from yesterday’s balance (i.e. the value in the row above). It is not clear to me how to do any calculated fields, but especially not this one.

We sincerely apologize, but Zapier Tables can't support calculated fields or operations that subtract one row's value from another. However, a workaround is to perform the calculation externally, such as in Google Sheets or Excel, and then import the results into Zapier Tables. This involves creating a new column in Google Sheets for the balance change, using built-in functions to calculate the change, copying the formula down the column, and importing the results into Zapier Tables by setting up a Zap to trigger when a new row is added to your Google Sheet. Despite not being the ideal solution, this workaround helps navigate the limitations of Zapier Tables.
