I need Zapier to push data into an S3 bucket. But there are a few nuanced steps that need to be taken care of.

  • Can Zapier automate these steps?
    • Log into a 3rd party website (that is not a standard Zapier integration)
    • Download a report
    • Push it into an S3

If no, can Zapier do this workflow?

  • Zapier takes an attachment from gmail, and push to an S3 bucket?

Thank you for any help!

Hey @ababab608 , Zapier can easily do the 2nd automation.

New Attachment in Gmail -> Upload file in S3 bucket.

Hi @ababab608

Try these Zap steps…

  1. Trigger: Gmail - New Attachment
  2. Action: S3 - Upload File

Thanks guys! This should be great and seems simple. What about the first workflow? Even if we wanted to hire an expert to help, is there a solution for it?

@ababab608

Zapier is meant for back end app to app data transfer, not front end automation scripting.

Ok thanks Troy. I think Zapier has a dropbox integration, but would we also be able to set this up by pulling down a file from dropbox, and then sending it to S3? So, just replacing gmail with Dropbox?
