How do I use Zapier to categorize incoming Outlook emails into subfolders?

I want to create a zap that receives all the email that i receive in outlook, may be i can use email scraper by zapier. AND i want zapier to categories those emails in the sub folder in outlook (such as promotional, out of office or potential reply from client or unsubscribe).

Does Zapier help me here?

Troy’s correct there aren’t any actions currently that would allow you to update or categorise the emails, so I’d suggest contacting our Support team to submit a new feature request for that to be added. You can do that here: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

In the meantime, you could potentially use Microsoft Outlook’s API request action to categorize emails. It appears they have an Update Message endpoint that allows a category to be set. It’s a bit more advanced as you’d need to reference Microsoft’s API documentation to ensure the request is set up correctly but we have a general guide on how to use that type of action that you might find useful: Set up an API request action

No available action to update an email, move an email, or label an email.
