Hello all, I am new to Zapier and looking for a way to connect Zendesk Support ticket statuses to a Smartsheet project plan. I want to view the ticket statuses inside my project plan to avoid looking at each individually in Zendesk. Do you have any helpful tips on how to make this work?

I am not sure what I am trying to do is possible. I have specific tickets in Zendesk listed in a project plan sheet in Smartsheet. I would like to have a 1:1 mapping per ticket to collect the ticket's status from Zendesk and display it in the appropriate field in Smartsheet.
For example, in Zendesk, there could be 50 tickets for a specific organization. However, I need only 2 tickets to connect to my Smartsheet plan and show the updated status in cells D2 and E2.

The “New Ticket” trigger returns the ticket status. Have you tried setting up your Zap like this:
- Trigger: Zendesk - New Ticket
- Action: Smartsheet - Add Row to Sheet
