  • How can I create Google Calendar events for each result in a Gmail keyword search?

I've been ordering groceries delivered through Walmart+, and I receive emails to my gmail account when the groceries are delivered. I would like to search gmail for these specific "groceries delivered" emails and create a google calendar entry for each delivery. What's a good way to do that?

Good question.

Try these Zap steps:

  1. Trigger: Gmail - New Email Matching Search
  2. Action: ???
    1. You would need to do email parsing here.
      1. Code
        1. Code - Run JavaScript
      2. AI
        1. ChatGPT / OpenAI (see topic below)
  3. Action: GCal - Create Event

 

Or you can setup a Gmail rule to send matching emails to an email parsing app such as Mailparser to be used as the Zap trigger step.
