Hey people,

I have 2 zaps linking Airtable and Adalo.

1 which is about updating and the other creating a new row in Adalo.

Basically, when a new row is created without an Adalo ID already inserted, it creates a new row in Adalo.

If there is already the Adalo ID, it just updates the row using the associated ID.

My question is : how to get back the Adalo ID after creating a row without triggering the other zap (when an Airtable row is updated).

Thanks a lot for your help :-)

Hi @ito

Try adding a Filter to your other Zap that checks if the field for Adalo ID is empty.

Hey @ito,

Just wanted to check in, were you able to resolve this issue with the information from Troy?

If you’d like more info on working with Filters, check out our help article here: https://zapier.com/help/create/customize/add-conditions-to-zaps-with-filters#how-get-started-filters-zapier

You can use a filter step to check the data from Airtable and limit the zap to a set of desired conditions, such as the existence of an ID.
