Custom response to Webhooks or workaround

Hello everybody,

as far as I can see, there is currently no option to customize webhook responses. I want to connect the adyen notifications with an app, but adyen requires an [accepted] string.

Is there any plan to implement this in the near future? If not, is there any workaround solving this problem? I saw, that this was also a closed request one year ago and quite a few others requested the same feature. Any updates?

Thanks!

Hi @Coupario

Webhooks by Zapier does not currently support custom responses.

Limitations

  • Zapier cannot 301 or 302 redirect you to a different URL and deliver/retrieve payloads from the new address.
  • Zapier will always return a success message and a payload of debugging information when collecting a webhook, regardless of whether there is a Zap behind the webhook or if it is paused or not. To find out if a URL is live, visit the Zap editor and look at the webhook URL (which is always the same for a Zap).
    • Although it's not possible to customize this response, you can remove it completely by using Silent Mode.

Feedback and feature requests can be submitted via a ticket to Zapier Support to be logged: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

Zapier does not provide timetables for if/when this would be released.
