ChatGPT step uses history content tokens

Hi all,

My ChatGPT (conversation) step is using history content, while I have no memory key set. This is quite annoying as it is using tokens…

These add up quite fast and I can’t find a way for it to stop using these history content tokens.

Any help would be awesome.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Stndk

For us to have context, we would need to see screenshots with how your Zap steps are outlined and configured.

Hey @Troy Tessalone

Sure!

Here’s the complete zap.

Here’s how the ChatGPT is set up:

Here it shows the response content, which is the only response I need.

As you can see the last two images show that it spits out another response as history content. I dont need this content which costs me tokens.

The last image below shows the tokens used

Thank you!

@Stndk

I believe this is the default behavior.

Each “Conversation” has an “ask” and an “answer”, which you can see from the ‘Role’. (e.g. user, assistant)
