Hello there,

I have an issue exactly this post but it is closed without answer solve.

Privacy and security are the biggest issues, so we have a form for users to upload files without leaving the 3rd-party tool.

Almost integrations of form tool only have a trigger to create record.
As a result, it is not possible to edit the record after uploading files to Google Drive to delete them.

The flow ideal:

Zapier] Upload the files on GDrive;
Zapier] Save or update the record with URL GDrive and/or remove the files any 3rd party tool.

I found that Webhook by Zapier is perfect way because it doesn't save the attachments, it is just an endpoint or a bridge.

When I upload the +2 files with Postman, the trigger only receives one file.

The question is:
What is the best way to get all the files from Webhook by Zapier?

Hi @Azos

Good question.

Is the file uploaded to GDrive a ZIP file?

Wondering if multiple files are getting put into a ZIP file as part of the data transfer from Postman to the Zap Webhook.

I selected 2 images and an image is uploaded without ZIP, lacking another image.

@Azos

Is the request from Postman being sent as a: multipart/form-data

It's a question?
This request sends as a multipart/form-data.
Check the screenshot the Headers tab.

The behavior persists and GDrive received one file yet =/
This screenshot worked out for you with Webhook by Zapier?

The same answer in the other post =/
I created the ticket about this issue, I posted with this post link and until no return.

@Azos

The workaround would be to only send 1 file per parameter, instead of multiple.

But, if the user select 5 or 10 files? file_1 until file_10 and another workaround to put all this files on GDrive?

I see that some user here had this problem with Webhook by Zapier.

Another option that apps do to send files…

First those files are hosted somewhere.

Then those files are sent as a list of comma delimited file URLs.

That ways it’s just data, not file objects being sent in the data payload to the Zap webhook url.

Do you recommend spending more money on an app just to host the files and then delete them afterward?

It doesn't make any sense.

This can be solved with a form tool, I found one in the free plan, but I cannot edit the data. Therefore, it is not secure.

Note: I need with Zapier to create a ticket on Hubspot and another actions.

@Azos

I’ve integrated with many Zap apps that handle multiple files fine, so perhaps it’s not worth trying to reinvent the wheel.

Please list the solutions that do not need to spend more money, remembering that there will be a lot of documents to upload on GDrive.

Not need to reinvent the wheel, but a wood wheel is better that stone wheel.
