Introducing faster polling time

Hi all!

I’m Fred and I work at Zapier as a Program Manager.

Today, we're excited to announce that based on your feedback, we've increased Zap polling speeds on several of our plans. This means that Zaps that use a polling trigger will check for new data more frequently. Woohoo!

Based on internal research and customer feedback, we've launched a new Professional plan that offers 2-minute polling intervals and a new Team plan that offers 1-minute polling intervals. Faster Polling Times are available on these new plans, so depending on the plan you’re currently on you’ll have to upgrade to the new plans to benefit from these faster polling times.

Great stuff @FredCastagnac - thanks to you and the team!



Love this @FredCastagnac but I've noticed it has cause problems with a series of zaps I have running that now hit the trigger server (RSS trigger) too often and now causes "Too many requests" from the 3rd party service. Is there a way to "slow down" polling on specific zaps, most of my zaps I was on 1-minute, but these, I don't care if they run every hour, I cannot change the trigger... :(



Hi @PaulKortman if you're having trouble with a specific Zap/s due to the shorter polling times, the best thing to do is to contact the support team. They can take a look to see if we can help you with that.



I cant figure out how to change my plan to get these faster poll times. Every plan option for me is 5 minutes unless I upgrade to the team option… Any help?

Hi @michaelfisk it looks like you’re on an older version of Zapier’s price plans. The best thing to do here is to contact the support team (https://zapier.com/app/contact-us) who will be able to explain the new plans and switch you to the newer set if you’re interested.
