Zap stopped loading Podio relationship items

Hello. We have an existing Zap creating a new Podio item in the Podio App named “Leads”. Items in the Podio app “Leads” have a relationship field to the Podio app named “Marketing campaign”. When building new, or editing an existing Zap, we want to set the Campaign field [in the new item in Leads] to a specific marketing campaign item. However, the Zap builder is not loading the list of existing “Marketing campaigns” items to choose from. It used to work before, we do not know Zappier builder stopped pulling the “Marketing campaigns” app items. Thank you.

Thanks for clarifying that @HenryNov, and for sharing those additional screenshots here—much appreciated! 🤗

It definitely appears to be a bug. Hopefully the Support team will be able to get a bug report opened up for this soon so that our engineers can get it sorted quickly! 🤞

The static custom value: I am not able to enter it. Selecting “Enter a custom value” leads to the interface allowing me to only select the FB fields feeding the data into this Zap.

Can you try entering the ID directly into the Campaign field itself:

Let me know whether that does the trick! If it works as hoped, you might need to try that approach for the fields that are having the same issue as well.

Try re-authorizing the Podio connection in Zapier. This can help resolve any authentication or permission issues that might be preventing the list of "Marketing campaign" items from loading.

If re-authorizing doesn't work, pause all Podio triggers in Zapier, then go to Podio and delete any active hooks related to Zapier. After deleting the hooks, re-set up the Zap to see if the list loads properly.

Hi, and thank you for your response. Re-authorizing did not work. I created a new Podio connection in Zapier and tested the said Zap with it, with the same result.
Before pausing all Zaps with Podio (I guess this is what you meant by “pause all Podio triggers in Zapier”) and deleting the Zapier keys in Podio, I want to make sure we are doing it correctly. We have about 40 Zaps integrated with Podio, so before doing anything I want to make sure it is safe. You are suggesting to:
1. Pause all Zaps integrated with Podio, and
2. Delete any active hooks related to Zapier. Here, in Podio, the only option available to me is to revoke permissions. Is that what you are suggesting, and is it safe considering we have many active Zaps built for Podio?

Hi and welcome to the Community, @HenryNov! 🎉

Sorry to hear it’s no longer loading the campaigns for you to select in the Zap. What’s the field above that Campaign field in your screenshot here:
d1c9678186e26ebaadec66c59d107972.png

Asking as I’m wondering whether the Campaign field might depend on another field’s value in order to load the campaigns. 🤔 And it looks like no data is being passed to that field so if the Campaign field was dependant on a value from that other field then that could be what’s preventing that from loading the campaigns. Do you think that could be the case or is the field unrelated to the campaigns?

In any case, as it was loading the Campaigns previously and it’s any longer it could be that you’re running into a bug. So I’d suggest reaching out to our Support team to have this investigated further. They’ll be able to confirm whether it’s a bug and can open a bug report for our engineers to get it fixed.

And instead of revoking the permissions can you try selecting the custom option on that Campaign field and enter the ID number for the campaign? Just want to check whether that allows the item to be added with the correct campaign selected—hoping that might help to work around this issue in the meantime. 🤞

Hope that helps. Keep us posted on how you get on!

Hi Sam, thank your advice. Here are my answers.

1. The Campaign field is not effected or dependent in any way on the field above it. The field above the Campaign field is a simple Podio text field.

Further, other Podio relationship fields in this Zap do not load the Podio items as well.

2. The static custom value: I am not able to enter it. Selecting “Enter a custom value” leads to the interface allowing me to only select the FB fields feeding the data into this Zap.

I am going to send this to your support team. Unless I am doing something wrong with your updated interface, it should be a case of a bug. Thanks for the responses.

Hi Sam, thanks for clarifying that. It worked, and I was able to use the Campaign Podio Item ID and enter it to the field.
Best, Henry
