Hi folks! 👋

I just came across this and spotted @FAVALLE90 reached out to our Support Team who were able to help resolve things. I’ll share a copy of the suggestion from Support here in case it’s helpful to anyone else that’s having similar trouble in future:

“From our discussion, it seems that despite setting the Zapier CRM in your Facebook business integrations, your Zap is still not triggering as expected. To better understand this issue, I suggest using the Facebook Lead Ads testing tool. This tool can provide us with more comprehensive details about what might be causing the problem.

Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Access the Facebook Lead Ads testing tool at this link: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/lead-ads-testing

  2. Select the Page and Form you're tracking in your Zap.

  3. Click the "Create Lead" button to create a test lead.

  4. Click the "Track Status" button to track the status of that test lead.

For a more detailed guide on using the Facebook Lead Ads testing tool, please check out this link: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496061345805-Use-the-Facebook-Lead-Ads-testing-tool-to-create-sample-leads

Once you've done this, please take a full-screen screenshot, including the URL bar, of any information or errors that come up and send it back to us. This information will help us better understand why the Zap isn't triggering properly and guide you in getting it up and running as expected.”

Seems like you’re all set for now but please do reach back out if you need help with anything else. In the meantime, happy Zapping! ⚡

Hi @FAVALLE90

Are you able to post an image of your Zap

And an image of each of the configuration steps so we can see what may be happening and help you more specifically.

You could check each step individually to see if ti si operating to pin-point the problem.

  1. When you trigger a new Facebook lead, does the Zap History show the zap has run, does it show any data coming from the trigger (look at the data out portion of the run details.
  2. repeat for other steps to see if output is as expected.

Post as much detail as you can on what you already have setup. Remember to obscure any personal data so as to comply witht he Forum rules.

I’ll be looking for your reply

thanks for the kind reply, these are the screenshots of the setting: the data arrives only if "send the lead test manually" and compare correctly in the google sheet. THE PROBLEM IS THAT IT DOESN'T HAPPEN AUTOMATICALLYThanks

@FAVALLE90

If you go to your zap run history do you see the zap appear after you send a new Facebook lead?

It appear from your follow-up informaiton you are having trouble with the Facebook leads triggering correctly.

If this is correct you could reach out to Zapier support for troubleshooting the trigger problems, or someone with experiencce with facebook leads triggers could help out here

Please send the screen shots of your Zap executing in the rzap run hitory or confirm that it is not triggering at all.

Hello there

Running across this same issue, I submitted a ticket but haven’t heard anything yet, here is a screenshot of what I see in the developer testing tool, also, a screenshot of the CRM tab where Zapier is indeed connected, the testing step in Zapier works, so not sure what’s going on

Hi @STR_deadend,

It’s good that you've submitted a support ticket, expect a response within 1-2 business days. In the meantime, try reconnecting the app, checking your Zap's Task History for errors, testing each step individually, and reviewing the app's API if using a custom integration. Detailed information about your Zap and the issue will help speed up troubleshooting.
