When using Mailchimp Transactional in a Transfer, the “select template” dropdown field does not get populated if there are more then +/- 60 templates available in Mailchimp Transactional / Mandrill.

Zapier returns an error: “Failed to fetch choices. Please make sure all previous required fields have values. Error while invoking: Error during execution: Response payload size exceeded maximum allowed payload size (xxxx bytes).

Hey folks,

Just wanted to follow up here to share that the bug report relating the issue here has now been closed! 😁🎉

There’s now a Label Filter field which allows you to filter the templates in the Templates dropdown field by the selected label. Which will then allow the templates with that label to be loaded successfully.

If you run into any issues in using that new field do let us know. In the meantime, happy Zapping! ⚡

 Hey friends! 👋

Reaching out here as spotted @dl_admin reached out to the Support Team who identified that they were running into an error with the Mailchimp Transactional app.

We don’t have an ETA on when this issue might be fixed by, but there is a workaround that appears to get around the issue in the meantime. Sharing details of the workaround here in case it’s helpful for anyone who comes across this:

Instead of selecting the template you’d choose the Custom value option and enter the template’s “slug” instead. For example:

Hope that helps! 🙂

Hi there @dl_admin, I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue.

Could you please reach out to the Support Team to let them know that you’re running into this error? They can take a look at the Zap logs and dig in further than we can here in the community, so they’re best placed to help you in this instance. You can get in touch with them using the Get Help form
