LinkedIn Lead Gen form - certain field not pulled

Hi,

I’ve got a LinkedIn lead gen form zap set up and I intend to pull data on work email, first name, last name, company name, phone number, submit date and response ID. The subsequence steps include updating Mailchimp audience and adding a row to Excel.

The Zap has been running fine before Christmas. I paused the ad just before Christmas and resumed it on 2nd January.

Now the Zap returns a running error. It cannot pull latest responses in the ‘test’ step, and when I replayed the previously failed journeys, only the submit date and response ID were reflected in one of my steps (adding a row in Excel). Other fields are all missing in the Excel spreadsheet and Mailchimp audience.

Is there an issue with parsing Lead Gen form on Zapier’s end? When I set up the zap, all the field is set up correctly and I can see a green tick on each step, so I don’t think it’s a set-up error.

Thanks.

Hi @lucy_xu_yaso,

Thanks for the screenshots.

It looks like the fields from the trigger may have changed. Could you please try loading a new sample data in the trigger step by clicking on the “Find new records” button. After that, please remap the fields in the Mailchimp step.

If that doesn’t work, and the fields are still not being sent properly. We might need to utilize the custom pill mapping method since I believe the fields in the sample data and when the Zap runs don’t match. You can learn more about the custom pill method here:

Kindly give it a try and let me know how it goes? I'll keep an eye out for your response!

Hi there @lucy_xu_yaso,

Before we dig deeper into this, would you mind sharing a detailed screenshot of how your Zap is configured? Also, please share a screenshot of the “CONFIGURE” section of the action step that shows all of its fields.

Please don't include personal information in the screenshot, or be sure blur out any personal information.

Thanks!

That’s awesome news, @lucy_xu_yaso! 🎉

Thanks so much for following up here to confirm that Ken’s suggestion of remapping the fields did the trick. Please do reach back out if there’s anything else we can help with.

In the meantime, happy Zapping! 😁⚡
