Gmail attachments are not uploading to Dropbox

I’m trying to create a simple Zap that automatically uploads Gmail attachments to Dropbox, however the emails that contain the .pdf attachments I need also have a .jpg in the signature that keeps uploading.

I’ve tried using a filter, but Zapier acts like it doesn’t see the .pdf, it only sees the .jpg and will only upload that. Any ideas?

In the Zap Filter step you have the variable “Attachment” mapped which is a file object.

Instead for the Zap Filter step use either of these variables, and make sure it’s the SINGULAR version of the variable. (no S at the end of Attachment)

You can use one of these variables:

  • Attachment Mime Type
  • Attachment Filename

Hi @zapbeacon

Make sure you use the attachment filename variable in the Filter step.

Help us have more info by posting screenshots showing how each of your Zap action steps are configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings.

Zapier can see the .pdf when I look at the file names, but it does not upload it. It will only upload the .jpg.
