Unable to locate Google Drive file in zap

Hello,

I’m trying to set up a Zap where when a new row is added to a Google Sheet, it creates a lead in Copper. I’m stuck on the Google Sheets part.

I have a Google Sheet that I have edit access to and access to the folder. When I search it by name or ID in Zapier, nothing comes up. I’ve tried multiple variations. I have read through this troubleshooting article: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/21816541058061-Google-Sheets-Spreadsheet-doesn-t-appear-in-the-dropdown-menu#h_01HGGFDSTPJNN5327KFP6JR9FR

So far, no luck. I have successfully set up this zap before many times with other accounts of mine in the past, so I know how it all works, but I’m hoping the support team has some other ideas.

@cornkingdom

Try using the [...] button to switch to “Custom” mode for the Spreadsheet field, then enter the static value of the Spreadsheet ID found in the spreadsheet url from the browser.

Hi @cornkingdom

Help us have more info by posting screenshots with how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode so we can see the field mappings.

Include screenshots of any encountered errors.

Hi Troy,
Right now I haven’t even gotten to field mappings. The issue I am having is at the step of selecting a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet isn’t showing up at all. It gives me some recommended spreadsheets from my drive. However, when I search for the spreadsheet by name it doesn’t come up.

Here is a screenshot of me searching part of the name of the spreadsheet. I have also tried searching by the whole name, other parts of the name, and ID. No matter what I do, I can’t get the spreadsheet to come up in search.

Hi Troy, thank you for sharing that but I referenced those in my original post.
I tried everything mentioned in those support articles before posting in this forum.
