WordPress error: authentication failed "Error parsing response."

I

i got this message  how can i fix it ?

We hit an error adding your new account

authentication failed: Error parsing response. We got: "<!DOCTYPE html> <html dir="rtl" lang="he-IL"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="tex"

  1. Make sure you click "Allow" or "Accept" on the permission popup
  2. Double check your Account has the correct permissions

Welcome to the Community! 🎉

Wordpress is one of those Apps in Zapier that can be affected by third party Apps in Wordpress. For example, security plugins usually blocks access for Zapier. I'd recommend disabling your plugins and retrying the connection. We've seen plugins interfere with Zapier's attempts to connect to WordPress in the past. 

I'd start with the Yoast SEO plugin, as we've seen issues with this one specifically in the past. Another customer was able to resolve this by disabling the Yoast SEO function 'REST API: Head endpoint' setting: https://yoast.com/help/how-to-disable-or-enable-the-rest-api-endpoint-in-yoast-seo/
