Failed to create a contact in DialMyCalls: The app returned “Phone is invalid”

I want new EventBrite attendees to be added to our DialMyCalls account as a New Contact. When I select the Cell Phone field from the EventBrite entry, it is giving me an error when I test it. The error says, “Failed to create a contact in DialMyCalls The app reurned “Phone is invalid”.

I assumed this was a formatting issue so I setup a formatter for phone number prior to the DialMyCalls step, but I am still getting the same error. Is there something I am doing wrong? Including a screenshot of the error...

@eric828

Try using the Formatter step to convert the phone number to 10 digits only.

Hi @eric828

We would need to see how your Zap step ‘Action’ section is configured to have context.

Solved. I took off the Formatter step and it works just fine. Thank you for offering to help.
