Question

Google Drive isn't adding videos to a draft page on YouTube.

Hi guys, I’m trying to automate a flow where I upload a file to a folder in google drive, it’ll automatically uploade to Youtube. When I try to test my steps it shows that it works but there is nothing added to my youtube draft page. How can I fix that? Please see the screenshots below

Hi @greysonz1997 

Good question.

You will need to turn the Zap ON and test live.

Manually testing the YouTube Zap app action does not actually process the sample data.

 

From the YouTube Zap help: https://zapier.com/apps/youtube/help

 

My Zap does not show real data when I test the Upload Video action.

When you test the YouTube action "Upload Video", the step will not upload the video. It will return default data so that you can continue setting up the Zap without affecting your channel.

I just tuned it on and tried to upload a video to my G-Drive folder but still nothing showed up on my youtube draft. Is my configuration in this step correct?
