Question

Shopify Google sheets Stopping order total from duplicating across lines

I have a Google Sheet that I am creating a new line when I get a new paid Shopify order.

When an order comes through with multiple line items it duplicates the total paid which makes it hard to sum monthly sales. I would like the total for each order to only appear once. Is this possible with Zapier or will I have to create a formula where I somehow disregard multiple totals on the same order.

Above with the order 3249 if I sum the total the customer paid it duplicates it across however many items were purchased

Note: adding Line items does not seem to work as they do not take into account discounts applied globally to the order.

Hi @Libertine

One option would be to have 2 steps in the Zap.

1 Step to send the Order # and Order Total to a GSheet tab.

1 Step to send the Order Line items to a GSheet tab, as you are doing currently.

As an alternative, you could use another GSheet tab to do the analysis calculation for the unique monthly sales via a formula.
