I have created a Custom Question in my Facebook Lead form.
I have added in to my Google sheets a new column for this question,
This question shows up in Zapier, and gives me the option to select a new action for it
however, I am not sure what the action is will be, and from the drop down menu has option such as, name, email, phone number, etc… but not shore how to sync my question here?

It sounds like you are wanting to trigger your workflow off new Facebook leads and put their data onto a google sheet? Am I on the right track?
I have added a new question my facebook lead gen form,
The question is,
‘When do you indent to propose?’
I have added this question as a column to google sheets, but I am not sure what to select to pull in this answer?

Is the field shown when you click “Show all options” ?
If not, you may need to submit another test submission of the updated form to pull the most recent data fields if that field were recently added or load more submissions from your trigger step.
