Zap for different stripe products and send two different emails

I need assistance setting up two separate Zaps to handle two different Stripe payment links. Here’s the context:

• I have two payment links in Stripe:

1. Product A: A one-time payment (e.g., Lifetime Membership).

2. Product B: A subscription payment (e.g., Monthly Membership).

What I Want to Achieve:

1. When a customer purchases Product A:

• An email is sent specifically for Product A buyers with relevant instructions.

• A notification is sent to a Slack channel for Product A.

2. When a customer purchases Product B:

• An email is sent specifically for Product B buyers with relevant instructions.

• A notification is sent to a Slack channel for Product B.

The Problem:

• I currently have one Zap set up, but it triggers for all Stripe payments.

• I need to separate the Zaps based on which payment link/product is purchased, so the correct email and Slack notification are sent.

What I Need Help With:

1. How do I edit my existing Zap or create new Zaps to differentiate between Product A and Product B purchases?

2. How can I set a filter or condition in Zapier to ensure that each Zap only triggers for its specific product?

3. What fields in the Stripe payment data should I use to distinguish between Product A and Product B?

Thank you for your guidance!

Hi @haqhal13

Try adding a Filter step or using Paths:

Zap trigger: Stripe - Checkout Session Completed

Should return the payment link or payment link ID. (e.g. plink_XXXXX)

Hi there @haqhal13 👋

Just came across this and wanted to check how things are going—would love to know whether Troy’s suggestion of using filter or paths did the trick?

And if you got stuck on setting them up and need any assistance do let us know, we’d be happy to help further! 🙂
