Select a Specific Gmail Attachment from Multiple

HI,

 

I’ve an email in my Gmail which contains multiple attachments.  I want to take just one file, an XLSX, and upload it to Google Drive.

 

However whatever I seem to try I can’t stop Zapier taking forward *all* the attachments, or the wrong ones, rather than just the XLSX.

 

I’ve tried:

  • Filtering by Mime type (Researched sheets vs XLSX etc)
  • Filtering by Attachment File name

These filters seem to recognise the file, but I still get multiple attachments or the wrong attachment being selected.

 

I can see loads of threads on this and none solve it

In the Filter step, you have a variable selected that is PLURAL for Attachments.

Try selecting a different variable that is SINGULAR for Attachment Filename.

Help us have more info by posting screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode so we can see the field mappings.

filter config - forget that this test record didn’t match
