Question

"Find Contact in HubSpot" partial match

We need to look for a hubspot contact. The requirement is as long as the field contains a certain text then we will take that contact. E.g. the value is “All Stations to Central” but we just need to match the “Central” bit.

Having tested "Find Contact in HubSpot" many times, it seems to only do and exact match the value.

This doesn’t fit our need and I am not sure what can I do the achieve this. Can someone please help?

Hmmm. I’m actually not sure this is possible. Can I enquire as to your use case. Why are you only looking for a fuzzy match and not an exact one?

Hi @amb!

As @andywingrave pointed out, it doesn’t appear that HubSpot’s contact search will work with a partial match. Out of curiosity, what’s the use case for looking for a partial match? If I can get some more details I can see about adding a feature request for the HubSpot team. Thanks!
