Question

How can I track the number of times a property was updated in Notion?

Hey there!

I'm completely new to Zapier and was hoping you could help me out.

I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to automate a process that counts how many times the "Assignee" property changes in my Notion database. It’s type is Person.

I'm not exactly sure how to do it, but I'd love to add +1 to theAssignee changed every time the Assignee property is updated.  What would be the easiest way to do it?

Thanks so much for your help!

Hi @Gintare R. Badaite

Perhaps see if native Notion automations can support this: https://www.notion.so/help/database-automations

You’ll have to test to determine if the Zap trigger Notion Updated Database Item includes the specific property that was updated.

If so then you can use a Formatter > Numbers > Math step to +1.

Followed by a Notion Update Database Item step.
