Question

How do I get multiple Slack messages into one Notion item

Hi All,

I’m trying to create a Zap where it would take Slack messages begging with a trigger word and add the messages to a newly created Notion database item. However, Notion creates a new database item for ever Slack message. I would like for it to add all messages with to a single newly created Notion database item.

I was thinking maybe there’s a way to gather all of the messages and then push it to Notion. I unfortunately have no idea how to proceed. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi @laserfocused

Good question.

Sounds like you may need to use Filters/Paths in your Zap.

Also, you may need to use the Notion actions:

Hey @laserfocused!

One way to gather information together and send it to another app at the same time is to use Digest by Zapier. You can add information to a digest and then release the information in it either using a Zap action or at a certain time. Do you think that would work for you here?
