Trigger for all Gmail emails

Hi guys,

I would like to track all of my email (and eventually phone) activity in Notion using Zapier. Can someone please tell me how to create a trigger for anytime I send or receive an email in Gmail? Sorry for the basic question.

Thanks!

Scott

Hi ScottPreston,

Not sure if this answers your questions, but I believe you would need to set-up 2 flows for this.

  1. Set-up a Trigger using the Gmail app that executes once an email enters your Inbox folder (for newly received emails) → Then an action to place that email’s info in Notion
  2. Set-up a Trigger using the Gmail app that executes once an email enters your Sent folder (for newly sent emails) → Then an action to place that email’s info in Notion.

I don’t think there is a way to do this with 1 workflow, but I could be wrong.

Hope this helps!

Max
