How can I set up a Zap to find a specific deal by name and pipeline in relation to a person/email?

Hi all,

I need some support for this setup:
We have more than one deal for our customers.

The deals are distinguished by name and pipeline.

We need a way to find the exact one deal based on the person/ email and the name of the deal.

At the moment, I can’t find a solution to use two criteria as filter.

Is there any chance to do so?

Thanks in advance

Hi @Tassilo Peters

Good question.

You may have to use the Pipedrive API to do more advanced querying: https://developers.pipedrive.com/docs/api/v1/Deals#searchDeals

App APIs can be used in Zaps with the Webhooks app: https://zapier.com/apps/webhook/help

Also, you may have to do a series of queries in order to find then filter the results.

For example…

  1. Find the Deals associated to a Person, then filter the Deals by name.
  2. Find the matching Deals, then filter by Person.

Hii friends! 👋🏽 Popping into confirm searching by more than one criteria isn’t supported in the Pipedrive integration at the moment. 😔

That said, there is an open feature request for this! I went ahead and added your vote to it @Tassilo Peters so we’ll keep you in the loop if this does ship. We’ll also keep the topic updated as well.

Thanks for raising this in community! 🧡

Hi @christina.d , I would also like to throw my vote behind this feature request and be notified of its progress if  it is shipped. Our Pipedrive environment also frequently has multiple deals tied to a single contact, so adding more functionality around deal finding logic in Zapier would be instrumental in improving our use of the two platforms.
