Create and Updating records in Firestore Document

The Firebase transfer allows to create new records in Firestore database.   But, there is no way to update a record.    It only allows to create and update selection on Firebase Realtime Database.

Will there be support to not only create but update documents in Firestore Database ?

Hi @helenabsj8!

The Firebase integration is one that Zapier built and maintains, which means that we are responsible for updating it, adding any feature requests, etc. There is an open feature request to be able to update Firestore documents in I've added your email address as another vote for this addition. I don't have an ETA of when or if this will happen, but we will definitely email you if it does become a reality.

Thanks!

Hi @helenabsj8

Good question.

Most apps on Zapier are built and maintained by the app developers themselves, Zapier keeps an internal list of app requests.

You can submit feedback in a ticket to Zapier Support: https://zapier.com/app/get-help
