Hi All....

Is there anyway to update airtable record via excel attachment (sent via email in Gmail)?
So the flow is:
1. I received an email in gmail. In the email, there is an excel (.xlsx) attachment.
2. I need to add new airtable records based on the data in the excel.

Is there anyway to do this?
Thank you.

Hi @vaans

Good question.

That will depend on the format of the XLS attachment.

Is it a flat file formatted like a CSV?

Also, you may have to deal with record limits. (see more below)

Check out this help article:

Here’s a help article about how to use CSV files in Zaps with Formatter > Utilities > Import CSV File:

https://zapier.com/help/create/format/import-csv-files-into-zaps

NOTE: File size limit.

The Looping app can be used to iterate thru a CSV file records: https://zapier.com/apps/looping/integrations

NOTE: 500 record limit.
