I have set up a Zap that when a new row has been created in Google sheet, to trigger creation of a new Jira ticket. I’ve tested this out and it does work, but there is a significant lag in new Jira tickets created (several hours). I have it set up to create Jira tickets instantly, but that does not seem to be working. Is this due to backend issues in Zapier or can I update any settings in my Zap to troubleshoot and have Jira tickets created instantly?
I am building an App on Zaiper which on running the validation throws the validation error saying: Needs a successful task I have two active Zaps created for the App and both run fine when trigger is activated. I am not able to figure out what is the validation for and how this can be resolved. Thanks for the help in advance.
Hello I am trying to integrate an app called Sig Parser with our CRM system. However, when trying to configure the integration within the Zap I have an issue. On step 1, when I attempt to connect to Zip Parser, I am advised that my Zapier plan doesn’t allow for the generation of API keys, and that I need to upgrade for it to work. Can anyone advise what plan(s) is required? Thanks Luis
Hi all, I’ve setup a Zap between Eventbrite and Mailchimp. When someone registers for an event (https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/virtual-island-summit-2020-tickets-101218031858?aff=ebdssbeac), they then get added to a Mailchimp mailing list with the Zap. The issue I’m having is with the Organisation and Country fields in the Add/Update Subscriber in Mailchimp. For Organisation it says “This is merge field "MMERGE5" in your MailChimp audience's setup.” and for Country it says: “This is merge field "MMERGE6" in your MailChimp audience's setup.”. I’m not sure what to enter into these fields so that this information comes through automatically from the Eventbrite registration to the Mailchimp mailing list, using the Zap. Thanks in advance! I am trying to get this community post automatically create a row in google spreadsheet with the different field values for each different column https://community.sendbird.com/t/syncmanager-ios-offline/167 I have zapier setup using Discourse “new post” → Google Spreadsheet “new/update row” in spreadhsheet I selected a multiple variables in discourse post fields. But when it comes to Google Spreadsheet, it just goes into one column with all the field values.. Is there a way for us to separate each field into different column? I created a Zap to create a new ticket for each new row added to a Google sheet. Everything works fine except it isn’t creating the ticket with unique email addresses. It is using the same one every time. If I don’t have it pull the email address it creates the ticket using the agent email address, which isn’t ideal either. I was having it update the “Requester Email” from the google sheet. Is there another way to do this?

Hi folks, I have a Zap that extracts info from an email generated by our website booking system and places it into a new Quickbooks invoice. We clean items for customers, so there are three important dates. We courier customers an empty box on PACKAGING DELIVERY DATE We courier the full box from customers on COLLECTION DATE We return items to customers on RETURN DATE Right now, the web booking system generates COLLECTION DATE only (Monday to Friday), which we extract from the email and then use Zapier formatters to manipulate and insert the other dates as follows: For PACKAGING DELIVERY DATE we use “-2 days” For RETURN DATE we use “+8 days” It works ok, but I’d like to know if there’s a way that these two dates can AVOID weekends? So if someone right now books online for a Tuesday collection, -2 days would be a Sunday, and so on. Our courier only operates Monday-Friday. So, we have to adjust every Quickbooks invoice manually if any of the formatted dates fall onto a weekend. Hope that
We have multi tenant application and each tenant has ability to create their own custom fields based on their business needs. There's no limit on number of fields one tenant can create. So far we have seen few hundreds of custom fields for each tenant. So tenant A can create custom field X1 and tenant B can create custom field Y1. We are trying to figure out how we can plan to build both triggers & actions so that we can effectively involve custom fields in both triggers & actions. So when tenant A uses the zap, his custom fields (more than one) will be involved and similarly for tenant B her custom fields (more than one) gets involved. Each of these tenants when using the zap should be able to map custom fields of our application with other application like we do when we are dealing with normal/system fields. Any help in this regard will be appreciated.
Hi, I am going from Go To Webinar to Active Campaign and I have 2 webinars coming up in 10 days. I have one webinar, Zapier and active campaign working well and people are getting into active campaign with the tag… all good there. My second webinar, later in the day I did, and the contacts who register for this webinar do not move over to active campaign. Below is the error message that I got from Zapier, but can not find any error like the error message says. Any suggestions or help you have, I would appreciate. We have 2 courses providers - ‘Course Provider A’ and ‘Course Provider B’ I have setup a zap for ‘Course Provider A’. They supply us with 1 unique course only. The rest of the courses on our website are supplied by ‘Course Provider B’. When ‘Customer A’ purchases the unique course on it’s own the correct quantity value is sent to ‘Course Provider A’. However, when ‘Customer B’ purchases a variety of courses including the unique course, the correct quantity doesn’t get sent to ‘Course Provider A’. If i look at the order log, the qty reads as: 1,2,1 Can anyone help me correct this issue please, thank you.
Hi! The context is journaling via Google Calendar linked to Google Drive. Here’s what I’m working with. (and I’m stuck) I have one zap which creates a 3hr block daily termed “RY Daily Summary Jun 5, 2020” using Schedule+Google Calendar. This zap is my daily “journal” Second zap involves Google Calendar + Google Drive whereby whenever a new document/sheet is created, a “Detailed Event” of 1hr block is created with title “E.g alpacas are good”. This zap is to track and record docs that I made each day. Here’s are some basic problems I can’t seem to solve. #1 I want to add the titles+time of the Google drive docs into the DESCRIPTION of my daily journal How do I automate the ADDITION to the DESCRIPTION of “RY Daily Summary Jun 5, 2020” to include “alpacas are good” AND other new subsequent events that pops up in my day e.g “bought some toothpaste,felt goOd” (*”update event” replaces “RY Daily…” into “alpacas are good”. Hi Again… I want to add a zap that is triggered when a specific filed is updated in any card within a specific board Basically when a checkbox is marked or when a specific line is added to the checklist i would like that to trigger the zap (external email in this case). I’m trying to build a Zap that will take an incoming email, extract all URLs, and then do stuff with them (send to Trello or email, etc.). The problem is that the Zapier Formatter can only extract the first URL from an email and I need all URLs in an email. Any ideas?
Occasionally our zaps turns themselves off, especailly a zap that links between a New Purchase in Kajabi to a Google Spreadsheet. This has happened about 3 times in the last 6 mths or so. And why isn’t there a notification via email etc advising that this has turned off so that we are made aware? Thanks for your help, Cheers Donna
